a few tips
Trails may run along the base of cliffs. Do not throw anything off a cliff top. Wear bright colors and make your presence known during hunting season (September to February). When hiking in the winter, remember that snow and ice and cold weather create hazardous conditions. Wear sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing. Plan walks so as not to be overtaken by darkness or storms. A forest can always be dangerous in high winds.
Always carry a trail map
